Lala's Style of the Day & Scooter Adventures

  • Dress: It was originally skirt I bought from TYM but I got bored of it so I decided to do a little recon. At first I was going to be a little more DIY-lazy and just attach the straps for a loose, flowy dress but I got bored of that too and decided to go a bit more pleat-y fun. I get bored easily.
  • Shoes: $5 thrift. These are my new babies that I plan to wear to Italy. Super comfy.
  • Hair Tumor: Made by me. A post on these coming soon!
  • Red Guy Laroche coat: So I didn't actually wear this out. I would have, but I value my life over fashion and a heat stroke is so not fashionable. I haven't worn it out yet but I've rediscovered my love for it's 80's shape and the hood collar. $2.50 st. vinnies.

Today I woke up to the sun and the rooster call. I put on my clothes, did a mini photoshoot and off to another adventure with KC, Funk Master T, Busababe, Bboi, and their friend J. There was scooter riding, McDonalds Iced Coffee drinking, chinese islamic food eating, karaoking, and random story telling-ing. I was going to post a video of my scooter riding olympic skills but it takes forever to load it up here. I'm too impatient to wait. New Years Eve is such a torture to me. Busababe has got to be the best singer of Under Pressure ever. Second only to David Bowie and Queen of course. I'm awed by her art of music.

I had a big alzheimer moment again when I left my keys in the trunk. Thankfully, there was one of those holes in the backseat and T man used his clean feet to grab them out. I also sold my old clothes to Buffalo Exchange for the first time. They didn't want most of my stuff. I felt rejected both inside and out. But at least I got $42 in store credit. I guess this sort of defeats my goal of buying less. Why am I forever cursed with failure?!

Those shoes are super cute. How do you manage to find so much good stuff thrifting?! Also, McDonald's iced coffee is where it's AT.

Wow, great coat. The hood looks fantastic. Except it looks itchy. Is it itchy? Awkward question...
And I love the trimming of that dress, you seemed to do a good job :)

I am positively dying inside for your shoes. They are the greatest things mankind has ever created. Yesh, those shoes are like Michaelangelo's David in shoe form.
