Lala's Style of the Day: Suburban Nerd.

I'm a not so desperate housewife nerding it up - suburban style.

The tale of my garment.
  • Sisley Floral dress: $1 I saw this dress dangling before me last year at the Buffalo Exchange Earth Day Sale. I never wore it before until yesterday because the pattern and hemline seemed a bit outdated to me. But I felt bad for it, sitting so lonely and afraid in my dark closet, that I knew I just had to put it on. So I did.
  • Raggedy Coat: $3.99 from Thank You Mart. I was prepared to wear out a black furry vest but my mom told me not to because were going to a vegetarian restaurant and she didn't want me to get paint splattered on. To spite her (not really), I decided to put on the most mismatching, gaudy coat I could find.
  • Belt: $0 from friend's mom.
  • Sandals: $15 from Marshalls. I like to call these my bondage shoes. I feel kinky. Just kidding. Let's pretend I never said that.
  • Glasses: $1 Buffalo Exchange. And the star of the outfit, my poser glasses. I wore them because I felt that my new style persona of weird nerd needed a pair of giant oversized glasses. It perfectly compliments my overly round face.
  • Ray Bradbury Book: $0.25.

Landed on your blog. Slightly obsessed. Kept on pressing "older posts" until I ended up to, like, 10 months ago.. I told myself that stalking was illegal, so I stopped.

Totally jealous of your good finds. More importantly, I LOVE YOUR COLLECTION!! It's beautiful - it's so unique and I love how you play and have FUN with fashion. My favorite was the dress with the tulle in the middle and the cut out and ahhh it's so beautiful and unique. AHHH I LOVE IT.

Anyways, I really love your blog. Wanna exchange links? I'm linking you anyways!

Okay. I'm back. Slightly embarrassing, but I won't lie, I totally stalked like your entire blog. I started in 2007 and some how ended in 2009. I admit it. And I also stalked your portfolio/ website.

Anyways, I have to say that you are the most HILARIOUS person EVER. I'm literally sitting at my computer, on a saturday night, at 1AM laughing my head off. I loved your NY fashion week review in 2008. Oh my god, that killed me. HAHA. Pretty jealous of your modeling skills, not gonna lie..

Okay, anyways, I'm a little worried that I might be accused of stalking you so I will go. But I really can't emphasize HOW AMAZING YOU ARE. AH, I love your blog! You are so creative and SO HILARIOUS.

My creeper skillzz are scaring me. Goodbye!
