Lala's Style of the Day: It's Time To Get off my squishy BUM

For me, my clothes tell stories. I would like to share that with you.

  • White t-shirt that's not so white anymore thanks to my excellent Italian skills that lead me to believe that ammorbidente was just another way of saying detergent. At least I found out half way through my stay. My friend never did. His white shirts must be dusty grey now.
  • Betsey Johnson skirt that I picked up from St. Vinnies way back when I used to shop there.
  • Felt necklace that started my obsession with felt jewelry in Italy. My first souvenir from my first trip away from Milan. Oh Cinque Terre let me roam in your waters again.
  • Shoes that I bought at a Christmas market near the castle in Milan. After seeing so many stalls of ornaments and sicilian desserts it was nice to find the last stall with the true goodies - shoes!

  • Flower patterened skort because skorts are ugly but so logical. That's the way I like my fashion - ugly and logical. I bought it at the reject for reject clothing place. The owner of this dollar store was smoking a cigarette while ringing up my clothes. She was friendly...I guess.
  • White t-shirt that went through the same series of unfortunate events that white t-shirt number 1 went through.
  • Tights that I bought from the flea market in Milan after a night of sin-ly activities. I have a weird habit of going to flea markets to purge my guilt. I think it helps me forget about things I want to forget about.
  • Shoes from a thrift store. They have fringe. Enough said.
